Soul Calibur 4 - Ooh, la la!
Aaron Birch
You too can pay to have your copy of Soul Calibur 4 infested with saucy French maids. No free Sith lords, though...
Soul Calibur 4 hasn't been out for long, but already there's some downloadable content available on Xbox Live. This is surely a good sign of things to come, and a signal that Namco plans to keep the game alive by injecting some great extras into the already superb battler… Or is it?
For 200 MS Points (you didn't really think it'd be free did you?), do you get the download everyone's been waiting for - Darth Vader? Do you get new characters, arenas or game modes? No. What you actually get is a few articles of clothing for female characters that, wait for it, will make them enter the heat of battle dressed as scantily-clad French maids… awesome, if you're 13.
Now, if the idea of weapon-toting French maids and pixellated mammary glands is your thing, then this may very well be the best 200 points you'll spend in a long time. For these rest of us, it's not such as good deal.
Personally, my points will stay where they are, as I'd rather see the Dark Lord of the Sith make his Xbox debut, preferably for free please, Namco. Stop being so bloody stingy! Oh, and… GROW UP!

I find your lack of clothes disturbing…
