The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button new trailer

Please, please, please let this film live up to its intriguing premise. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, based on the F Scott Fitzgerald story, stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, and tells the tale of a man who is born old and gets younger throughout his life. In the wrong hands, it could, of course, be a bit of a disaster. But behind the camera is one of our favourite directors, David Fincher.

This new trailer gets across the basic premise, although doesn’t inevitably layer too much on it. We do get to see how Button looks in his early years, and there’s some dialogue between Pitt and Blanchett. But this is a film that a trailer, surely, has to work hard to shift.
