Mummy 3: transformation clip
Martin Anderson
Jet Li makes the fastest transformation ever, into a hideous horny beast fighting Brendan Fraser in the new Mummy film...
Jet Li is seen transforming into a furry horned beast in one of a gaggle of clips that have been made available for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, which is released in the UK on the 8th of August.
Emperor follows on directly from The Mummy (1999) and The Mummy Returns (2001), with Brendan Fraser buckling a bit more swash as semi-dorky adventuring archaeologist Rick O'Connell, now getting into all sorts of supernatural trouble in the company of his son Alex (Luke Ford). This time the trouble comes in the very non-bandaged shape of Jet Li as the first emperor of Qin.
Li's transformation into the horned thing is possibly the fastest movie shape-shift I have ever seen, though it certainly leaves more time for the scrap. Furry Li is even a little bit cute...
